Cited: Armitage
Toulon full-back Delon Armitage has been cited following an alleged tip-tackle in their Heineken Cup Pool 6 defeat to Montpellier last weekend.
Armitage was yellow-carded by Alain Rolland for the first-half incident and was subsequently reported by the match citing commissioner.
He will now face a disciplinary hearing in Dublin on Thursday. The range of punishments for tip tackles vary between four weeks at the low end to a top end punishment of 52 weeks.
European Rugby Cup also announced that Rovigo forward Jean Francois Montauriol had been cited for allegedly stamping or trampling on Perpignan lock Guillaume Vilaceca in last Thursday's Amlin Challenge Cup encounter.
Racing Metro flanker Antoine Battut, meanwhile, will face a disciplinary hearing on Thursday following his sending off for striking a Munster player with his knee in Limerick on Sunday.
And Rovigo centre Joe van Niekerk will join his team-mate Montauriol on Thursday after being red-carded following an alleged tip tackle in that 40-22 defeat to Perpignan.

Delon is an idiot, and it appears he'll never grow up - whilst I am praying England will stop being so stubborn and get his brother into the setup, I hope they don't touch Delon with a barge pole.

Well hopefully his "excellent disciplinary record" will stand to him, and he gets what he deserves!!!

armitage can be an idiot, but this was a very minor offence. He was trying to get the guy off his feet and did it clumsily. It's what you see at countless rucks during the clear-out.

What's new? The biggest scumbag ever to play for England. A disgrace to the great and honorable players like Robinson, Lewsey and Callard that went before him.
