Suspended: Benjamin Boyet

Bayonne fly-half Benjamin Boyet will miss his side's last two Amlin Challenge Cup pool games after being suspended for a dangerous tackle.

Boyet was found guilty of a dangerous tackle on Clermont centre Aurélien Rougerie in their recent Top 14 clash and was handed a ten-day ban by an LNR disciplinary committee.

The suspension means Boyet will miss the coming fortnight's European games against the Dragons and Mogliano.

In other disciplinary news from France, Toulouse flank Yannick Nyanga was found not guilty of a high tackle against Grenoble.

Iyhel says...

Errr, we're not talking about a high tackle but a splendid soccer tackling slide, with Boyet's foot crushing Rougerie's ankle... (3 seconds before there might have been a ball instead of an ankle)

I find 10 days to be very lenient.
