Brive hammered French rivals Agen 50-13 to consolidate their place at the top of Almin Challenge Cup Pool 5 at Stade Amédée Domenech on Friday.

The hosts ran in seven tries for an easy bonus-point win that sets up a showdown with Sale Sharks next Thursday.

Full-back Julien Caminati scored two tries and kicked three penalties and three conversions for a personal haul of 25 points.

It was an relatively close game until the last quarter, when Brive cut loose and scored four unanswered tries.
