Id agree IreSonny but i don't think a 7 nations would work ( because of the odd number of teams the tournement would take about 10 weekends to complete unless the team with the bye played in mid week in each round). I've said for a while now that the 6 nations ought to be replaced by a new Euro Champs ( however unpopular that would be initially) as thats the only way forwards now for some of these teams. Id basically have an 8 or 10 team competition, with obviously Georgia and then the likes of Romania, Russia, Spain, and Portugal the other likely teams, and maybe kill several birds with one stone and make it a 4 yearly event in between world cups and lions tours. If this were to happen the game in europe would come on leaps and bounds. I personally can't see it though because the 6N is such a money spinner and the unions certainly wouldn't give it up for anything other than another annual event. I love the 6N but i also love the game itself and to me some of these sides in europe will never get much better than they are now until they've got something more meaningful and of a higher standard than the European Nations Cup to play in.

Can't wait to see this guy next season, WP Nel too. Hopefully crowds will only grow at Edinburgh and Glasgow, I think they will.

Its good to see more Eastern European players in the top leagues, shows how much they are progressing. Georgia for seven nations in a few years ( or a smaller comp with Russia, Romania etc ) I think so!
