PR, your website is so crap at updating what is going on in the rugby world. One week out from the RC, would it not hurt to (a) finish off this match report and (b) bring people's attention to the fact that the two teams have played again with the Pumas triumphing?
I cannot believe that you haven't one newsworthy story about Argentinian rugby less than a week from the biggest day in its history of playing the sport. It's been the same in relation to other countries, what an awful service.

I dont think Argentina will be to bothered about the loss to be honest.As has been pointed out they where trying alot of combinations and new moves.They also lost their warm up matches before the RWC ,and still manged to give the ABs a very hard close game.The SF match should be seen as what it is a team building excersise to intergrate the new squad players and an oppotunity for them to try new things ,nothing more

While I don't expect them to beat Oz or SA they will provide good competition and can only get better. If only they could field a full squad all the time...I also hope they get given some time to adapt/improve!

I was there at the stadium. The Pumas used 28 players and try a lot of different set plays but they are not still in form, coming from a two week training camp at Pensacola. But they didnīt play well, they threw away a lot of possession and show a sort of disrespect for the ball.

Its not all about this first championship for Argentina. The name of the game is improvement for the first couple of years, surely. I for one just hope that, if Argentina lose every game, the SANZAR unions (and fans) don't turn round and say ' told you they aren't good enough to play with us'

Agree in one sense; Boks lost fairly recently to Leicester with Leicester missing 12 internationals and lost to Saracens the week after without their England players... But then they went on to get beaten by Ireland. It's tough to beat good clubs but it's a bad tour ahead if you lose these warm ups. Like when Ireland lost before NZ tour; you know it's all over before its started.

The good news for Argentina is that they get to play both Australian matches last, so they will have hopefully adjusted to the step up in pace and intensity of the southern hemisphere competition.
I'm assuming they're targetting Australia as their most likely chance of victories and shocking some people by possibly not finishing bottom. They won't out-muscle South Africa, but they may cause Australia a lot of problems, as Ireland did in the World Cup (and Italy in the first half).
