The International Rugby Board (IRB) says Japan will host the 2011 Pacific Nations Cup in Tokyo in July, with all matches to be held at the Prince Chichibu Memorial ground.
Japan, which will host the 2019 Rugby World Cup, takes on defending champions Samoa, Fiji and Tonga in the six-match tournament, the IRU said in a statement Thursday.
The tournament will feature three doubleheader match days - Tonga vs Fiji and Japan against Samoa on July 2; Tonga against Samoa and Japan vs Fiji on July 8, and Samoa playing Fiji and Japan taking on Tonga on July 13.
Japan also hosted the IRB junior world championship in 2009.

yeah I wish an aussie and a kiwi team were playing, just to give us stiffer opposition before the world cup. Gee can't wait for this tournament, the one last year was really entertaining.
