Ruled out: Duncan Weir
Glasgow suffered a big injury setback with news that fly-half Duncan Weir will be sidelined for around six weeks, ruling him out of Heineken Cup and Pro12 action.
Weir, 21, sustained a knee injury in training ahead of the side's recent RaboDirect PRO12 win over Connacht at Scotstoun Stadium.
"It's clearly frustrating for both Duncan and ourselves that he's missing out on some big games," said Warriors coach Gregor Townsend.
"However, with many more important fixtures coming up over the course of the season, it's very important that he gets himself right, and I know he'll be working hard with our medical team to return to the fray in due course."
