Bloemboy, best thing for SA rugby is that the Cheetahs can hold on to their talent and prevent the raids that have cost you guys at least 3 Currie cups since Natal started it all in the 90's... Imagine what you guys could have done back then with Jouba, Ollie, Pieter Muller, Vleis Visagie, Honniball, Hentie Maartens, Stefen Brink, Charl van Rensburg, AJ Venter!

Hopefully the Stormers and Bulls can also hold on to create great future games amongst what should be the top 3 REAL union in SA!

@martinmarais, just look where Sarel Pretorius is now. Sensation last season and cannot get a start at the moment. When will these guys learn that they need to stay for long enough to consolidate their abilities within a structure. Good spot though on Piet van Zyl. To be honest, there are a lot of potential stars in this team and the most unsung of them is van der Walt. As an ex loosie, I always keep an eye on 6,7&8 and this guy has genuine talent. He could well develop into an Andre Venter in future.

The Cheetahs are improving every year and some how they aren`t losing too many players through transfers...

On current form you can't pick anybody else as the Bok no.10. He is just a complete player... and the scary thing is that he still has a lot to learn...

Second in line is undoubtedly Patrick Lambie - the difference he made to that Sharks team when he returned last week was massive... They're distinctly average without him...

If Morné Steyn is picked ahead of either one of them, it would be a travesty. I don't care how much "experience" he has - Joel Stransky also has a lot of experience, but you won't pick him would you? The talent, confidence and vision these guys have makes Steyn look 10 years older than he actually is. The one thing he had going for him all this time - accurate kicking - is clearly not there anymore... Now there is simply no excuse to make him the Bok fly-half.

I'll judge Heyneke Meyer according to who the Bok no.10 jersey goes to.

YIPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.......... (pg.2) EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.... !

:P

Finally the Cheetahs are starting to hang onto their star players!!

Oh my - can you imagine how good the Cheetahs might be if they actually have the same team 2 years in a row..? That's unheard of!

Seriously though, I think this is a very good thing - it's good for the Cheetahs and good for Johan Goosen. He won't be able to develop his game with a bigger union - they're too rigid and structured there... He has more freedom at the Cheetahs with their style of play.

He sure as hell should be the Bokke 10, he's only 19 and already he's making Steyn look amateur by comparison, I can see a very nice team lining up for SA in the future and he's the only real choice at 10.

GLAD, Jan Harm van Wyk did not pull another Mapoe/Natal flop on Goosen. Imagine where bright Cheetah star Mapoe could have been if people did not greedy around him...

Bloemboy, dont forget Piet van Zyl as another freak in the making!

Also dont forget he is from Burgersdorp in the Cape! ;) We can do with him in a Stormers jersey! ;)) Just joking, really glad for the Cheetahs!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! We hang on to one for a change, and Brussouw has indicated he isnt moving either. these 2 with Juan Smith, Strauss and Coenie Oosthuisen will form the core of a very good team. Nice if we can hang on to a few others as well, particularly le Roux on the wing, van der Walt at 8 and the Ebershons

He'll become a Springbok no matter where he plays, but I'm glad he's staying in Bloem!
