Care: Scores for Harlequins
Harlequins boss Conor O'Shea was full of praise for scrum-half Danny Care after Harlequins beat Leicester 25-21.
Quins trailed 18-12 at half-time but Care scored a superb solo try after the break, the highlight of a display which had O'Shea calling for England to give his man more game time.
Care has not seen much action in the Six Nations so far and O'Shea said: "The right reaction is to come back and perform for your club.
"Danny Care was world class out there tonight. You're fortunate to be able to watch those types of moments.
"From Stuart Lancaster's point of view, he must be thinking, 'I've got Ben Youngs (who didn't play for Leicester) and Danny Care - how lucky am I?'
"From my point of view, we love having him back. He got stuck in and got physical. Looking at the team, we were physical, we were magnificent.
"I'm always going to back my own player and Danny's outstanding. From Stuart Lancaster's point of view, there are two Lions-standard scrum-halves competing.
"I think England are lucky to be in a position like that. You look underneath Danny Care and Ben Youngs, with Joe Simpson coming through - we're blessed.
"They are only 24 or 25 and that is the heartbeat of the side for a long time. Danny will hopefully get a chance soon with England, I'm sure."

I believe Youngs qualities suit international rugby better and comparing his and Care's performances I believe he is rightly just ahead...
Care's form at club level doesn't always translate to international as the speed of the game is quicker and defenses more organised...
Youngs tends to make breaks from causing indecision using runners as decoys and his pace to exploit their hesitence. Usually outside the opposition guards towards midfield or on a large blind side...
Care tends to be more direct, exploiting indiscipline of the guards or bad organisation to break close to the ruck. Generally the higher the standard of rugby the less opportunity you have to do this...
Their skill levels are fairly similar although I think Youngs just shades it their as well...
At the moment Youngs and Farrell have formed a good partnership and their game management has been spot on. This will probably be the biggest obstacle for Care to clear...

The love in for Youngs is ridiculous. He was pretty good in Dublin, but that is the only time he's looked remotely useful - either for club or country - since the 2nd test in Australia 2010.
Care is a better reader of the game, better & quicker passer, better sniper, better general for his forwards. He's just better full stop.

I like Care and think he's brilliant but when Youngs plays his best he's nigh on unstoppable. He has the better pass, better box-kick and is probably marginally quicker, too - anyone that doesn't believe me has probably never seen one of his breakaway tries. If Lancaster selected Care to start against France I wouldn't be upset but Youngs has just a little more magic about him.

Youngs has faster hands / pass and a better box kick. Despite that it's a hard call but easy to understand if Lancaster selects either to start. Think Care will start vs Italy.

I've always liked Care, think he's the best in England and one of the top 10 in the World at the moment.
Never understood why Youngs was ahead of him, Care offers more on attack and reads the game better, I think he has a better pass too.

Care is excellent and has been for years, there's no denying that but on the biggest stage of all (test matches) when youngs delivers he delivers better than anybody...we really are blessed at 9 though with youngs, care, simpson, dickson, wigglesworth all available at any given time...

Danny Care is not just world class but appears to be the best 9 in England. His roots are in the north of England, maybe Lancaster won't play him due to some hidden reason. More fool him!
