Worcester Warriors flanker Matt Kvesic is reportedly set to quit the club and join Gloucester at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old, who is training with England this week, is in high demand after a string of impressive performances for the Warriors and with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
The young openside will leave Sixways this off-season along with England international prop Matt Mullan, who is set to link up with London Wasps according to the Worcester News.
Kvesic will follow a string of previous academy products to leave the club including Tom Wood, Graham Kitchener and Miles Benjamin in recent seasons.
Former Worcester and England captain Pat Sanderson previously stated that keeping Kvesic at Sixways was essential the club's ambitions.
"From Worcester's perspective, they really have to keep him, don't they?" said Sanderson.
"If we have the ambition to develop and compete at the top of the league, we have to keep players like that."

Seems a really bizarre and poor decision from Kev. Why would you go to Gloucester? I can partly understand Tigers/Saints but this is just an insult.
Rumor has it we also offered him substantially more than any other club was offering.
Poor show.
- Just think of the team we could have:
Hartley
Kitchener
Wood
Benjamin
Mullan
Kvesic
On top of the players already in our squad from our Academy including Percival (tipped for Wales), Pennell who is looking in great shape, Alex Grove, Jake Abbott (another quality 7) and Jonny Arr who is pushing Paul Hodgson out of the team.

Agree it is sad. Sort of means there is a partial status quo developing with a few teams always being near top, and heres one apparently accepting they're a lower end of the league club long term.

Sanderson hit the nail on the head. Even as a Bath fan, I want the Warriors to be successful. I want all English teams to be successful, as it will force Bath into improving and, let's face it, we need to.

Great move for both Kvesic and Gloucester. Gloucester needed a proper 7 and Kvesic needed to play in a better team to get more big matchs. Shame for Worcester though a they seem to have a hell of an academy.

I agree with Pat Sanderson, that is absolutely dreadful for Worcester if they allow that to happen. I know money and playing ambition is a factor but if they held on to the likes of Wood, Kitchener, Benjamin et al they would be a dangerous outfit. Maybe we don't see the work that goes on behind closed doors but they do give the impression that they seem to be content with being a feeder club at times.
