No great loss for Wasps - he has never lived up to his potential/hype and is often injured. Wasps should use his wages to sign a decent tighthead...

Like all Wasps I'm hoping for a better season and a better future under the new ownership.

The recruitment so far has been positive. The pack, particularly in the back and second row looks much stronger and a few promising front rowers have been added. We still lack a dominating prop and a first choice hooker but things are looking up.

The potential playmaking axis of Simpson, Jones & Thomas looks good and we've got lots of talent in the back three. Dom will be a miss but I've got high hopes that Daly could be the man to fill his shoes.

Although I understand that he feels playing at the top end of the table and getting HC rugby will improve his England chances I do wonder how much rugby he's going to get going to a side that already have Burrell, May and the Pisi brothers amongst others.

Best of luck to him but in my biased/dream/fantasy world I think he might catch the selectors eyes a bit more being the number one choice, playing outside Stephen Jones behind a resurgent and dynamic pack.

I CAN DREAM CANT I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch indeed. Wonder what Wade and Launchbury will be thinking.

Looks like another tough year.

Good signing. Saints have been a bit indifferent in the transfer market recently.

Tom May average, Artemyev poor, Samu Manoa good, Pisi very good.

I still think the pack needs strengthening especially number 8.

I remember when the Saints went through a stage where they kept signing class players like Foden, Wood, Ashton and Calum Clarke.

Have to say its a great signing for saints. I don't think anyone would have believed it if someone had told them 6-7 years ago that by 2012 Wasps would be in this state. Wonder how the likes of Dallaglio, Lewsey, Worsley, and Vickery feel when they see their former club like this.

"Dom's ultimate aim is to get back in the England reckoning and he feels he needs to be playing for a side competing at the top of the Aviva Premiership and in the Heineken Cup to do so."

Ouch.
