Samoa's problem is not just it's management, its the IRB, NZ and Australia. Europe won't release players for internationals and NZ & Australia will poach the pacific and make sure the Islanders can't play for their own country of birth EVER, even if they wear the Black or Gold national jersey for just one game and then disgard them.

What the hell u on about? Even though we lost im still proud of the way we played, we gave use hell considering use a World Champs at that time lol.. And yes the offball stuff i love it, plus it was nothing crazy, i think u should harden up too. And i got no doubt SA got a better scrum and they deserved the win, we arent all one eyed supporters lol. Considering we are ranked like 10, we got dodgey managment, short turnarounds, players that barely get payed, u should be ashamed of your Springboks cause they only just won lol.

And about the Tongan scrum.. im not blind, Tonga was the only team who could hold the French scrum, Tongans got some of the strongest tight 5 in the world. Love there pack.

"Thuggish nature" u say. LMFAO, springboks are the dirtiest in history LMFAO at u one eyed little girl.

And If u call that a punch by the Samoan player u must be a little girl (was a open palm)

And did u hear the coach say Wales was gonna be a easy game? lmao please show me proof...

Have u ever said to a Samoan face what u feel about our dress attire? NO! cause U know what would happen lol.

@ manusamoa....

ur proud of the way u play??u get smashed???r u serious???ur scrum cudnt even stand the bok scrum...thats probly y u guys lost that game n how ur team was obsessed wit off the ball stuff and not tha game plan..if u guys had one...

u can neva beat the boks wit that...look at how tonga handled the french in their match...ball first, second, third and .....their scrum stood up to the french n was the only team that went head to head wit tha ABs scrum..thats how u show ur thuggish nature...not by unnecessary pushing n shoving n punching wit an open palm lol...if it was a tongan playa that punched that small SA playa he wud still b in a coma rite now wit a broken jaw, eye socket etc...

anyway u shud sort out the mess first at ur home unio...talk about players that wear skirts and complain n blame every1 but them...sum1 shudve shown them a highlight of their shortcomings in all games...heard the coach said leave Wales cos it shud be an easy win for them...talk about complacency...but anyway all the best next time...

@ 7nezking - you couldn't make the pools up, based on proximity or locality - it would just be seen as unfair. And it would be.

Im actually proud of the way we play.. All over the world people know when you playing Samoans because u get smashed lol. Legal or illegal its in our blood to be barbaric, and im proud:)

That game was a very physical affair but i dont believe there was nothing CRAZY in that match, toughen up. Thought SA were tough, maybe its just u

I think its just a case that u love watching your team do it but cant handle it when it is done to use.

@7nezking

Yeah i hear your point, u could be right.. Not sure about the pools in the next WC thou

@Manusamoa

I was referring to the handling of the Namibia and Wales games. Namibia played just 4 days earlier, and got trashed by Fiji. Samoa could have fielded a weaker team against namibia coz they clearly ran out of gas 25-30min from time in the game against Wales.

For Tonga, well Canada was fresh coz it was their 1st game, and they are way better than Namibia. It was like 'Isitolo Maka didn't prepare this at all, coz he knew very well that although they have enough depth to field another team, the guys never really played together. Don't know why he didn't learn from the 1st game against Fiji in the Punjas series, where the team just looked lost on the field even though individually you can clearly see that the Tongan players were better.

Anyway do you know if Tonga, Fiji and Samoa can all get into different pools? better chance of getting all three to the knock-out stages :)

@7nezking

I dont agree Samoa handled there short turnarounds incorrect, we were in the hardest pool and there was no game where it was worth resting even 1 player. We had to throw everything we had in every game to get through (nearly worked though). Tonga on the other hand went for resting players against Canada and they lost (too risky for our small nations to rest players, we dont have great depth)

I dont think there is a easy way to handle short turnarounds in the hardest comp in the world, really the IRB need to pull there head out.

"there is no doubt a lot of work is required"

Why is there a lot of work required?!?!

we only just lost to Wales and SA.. (and I believe we were the better team against Wales). Both games we could have won if we were a bit more lucky maybe. Plus we had the worst management lol and the short turnaround between fixtures. You could almost say we were the best team in the whole comp considering our situation.

Tonga and Samoa both didn't do themselves any favours by pourly handling their short turn-arounds (4 days) after their 1st game.

Anyone know if Tonga, Fiji and Samoa can all get into different pools? Coz Tonga and Samoa were in the same pool in '07, and Fiji and Samoa were in the same pool this year.

If the even rest period is applied in 2015, Six Nations teams and Argentina (I think SA, Aus, NZ are just too strong to get knocked out in the group stages) will really have something to worry about.
