The Springboks have been boosted with news that flank Francois Louw and hooker Adriaan Strauss are fit for South Africa's tour to Europe.
Louw hurt his neck in an Aviva Premiership game with Bath over the weekend, but scans revealed that the injury was not as serious as initially feared.
Strauss, meanwhile, had picked up a knee injury during the Free State Cheetahs' first promotion-relegation match against the Kings and was forced to sit out the second clash between the two sides last Friday.
However, the Springbok vice-captain was given the all-clear by Free State Cheetahs team doctor Ian Morris and will be available for South Africa's opening fixture against Ireland in Dublin.

i thought i read somewhere that adriaan and richardt strauss are cousins, so with the injury to rory best it now looks like richardt will make his debut scrumming head to head with his cousin. interesting.
