Suddenly we are all Gordon d'Arcy fans now that he's been replaced by PW? D'Arcy has always been a class player ... especially against the ABs. Shame on all of those who have decried him as being 'past his best' or the 'weakest link' over the past 3 years. He will be missed in midfield although Paddy Wallace is a lot better than his detractors make out.

I've never been much of a Wallace fan in the green jersey, but he's been showing some great form for Ulster this year. Hopefully he'll manage to play as well on Sat. Maybe he should wear the Ulster jersey underneath the Irish one.

NZ-Ireland is very hard to pick, but remember that the 'out on their feet' ABs at the end of the game, with 14 men, strung together 13 phases from the Irish 10-metre line leading up to the DG. I wouldn't bet on this one at all, however the ABs are seriously weakened and Ireland must have a chance.

good odds on an Irishman getting away with eye gouging, again. My money's on that.
Otherwise, Samoa, Ireland, Oz, SA ,France. ANd SA to win the U-20 RWC.

Though Ireland could end up being spanked, mainly because of the loss of the crucial D'Arcy/O' Driscoll partnership and it being gaffer taped with a jet lagged Paddy Wallace who is not near as good as D'Arcy anyway, I fail to see how Orrible Punt deduces that Ireland will somehow run out of steam. Ok, I know these players have had a very long year of rugby with the WC etc but Ireland actually finished stronger in the last match, especially in the scrum, and it was NZ who looked out on their feet more than Ireland...
