32-year-old French international lock Pascal Papé has signed a four-year contract extension with Stade Français, the Parisian club said on Friday.
Papé, who will skipper France during the November internationals in the absence of Thierry Dusautoir, will be 36 when his new contract expires in 2016.
The 42-Test veteran is a key member of the Stade Français pack and was reportedly the target of number of other Top 14 clubs, including Toulon.
Stade Français have also confirmed that 21-year-old fly-half Jules Plisson has inked a new three-year deal.
