Banned France hooker to miss Tests

Christopher Tolofua Toulouse T14 2012

Banned until December: Christopher Tolofua

Toulouse hooker Christopher Tolofua has been handed a six-week suspension for a dangerous tackle against Treviso in the Heineken Cup.

Tolofua was shown a second yellow card - resulting in a red card - by referee Leighton Hodges for his tackle on Fabio Semenzato during the second half of the match at the Stadio Comunale di Monigo last Saturday.

The ban means the 18-year-old sensation will only be able to play again on December 3, ruling him out of the November Tests.

Tolofua, who won two caps for France against Argentina in June, had been included in coach Philippe Saint-André's training squad.

Toulouse will not appeal the decision.

He is not ready yet anyway for the international level (as we saw last week)

Well that was silly of him, he's pretty much nailed on for the 2 shirt in the future, this could have been his chance to cement it.
