Leinster fly-half Ian Madigan has been called into the Ireland squad for their tour to Argentina after Paddy Jackson was ruled out.
Ulster and Ireland fly-half Jackson has been ruled out of Ireland's two-Test tour in June due to a stress fracture in his lower back.
Jackson was named in the tour squad on Monday but was unable to train at the Ireland mini camp which took place in Dublin this week.
The injury will require rest and recuperation for Jackson to start next season fully fit.
Joe Schmidt had previously opted to take only two fly-halves on the tour, hence Madigan's omission.
Madigan has eight caps for Ireland, the last of which came in the win over France in Paris that sealed the Six Nations title back in March.
