Ireland's Eoin Reddan has been ruled out for three months after breaking his leg in the 13-13 draw with France.
Reddan fell awkwardly beneath a tackle in the final minute of a compelling 13-13 draw at the Aviva Stadium and was given oxygen before being carried off.
Ireland's injury-depleted ranks were swelled even further by a number of other casualties, with lock Donnacha Ryan damaging his shoulder and centre Luke Marshall sustaining concussion.
Both are doubts to face Italy next Saturday.

Reddan a Lions contender bahaha he shouldn't have been on the pitch in the first place. A massive blunder by kidney and it contributed to Ireland's downfall. Youngs, Care and Phillips are the front runners. If Murray can back up that performance he'll be in with a shout.

I feel bad for him, he's had hardly any game time over the past 6-7 weeks, he comes on for 10 minutes and he breaks his leg...

shame. i would have had him as a dark horse for the B&I Lions, given the lack of clear candidates for the 9 shirt. a blow for Leinster too, but Shaft should provide ample cover for the rest of the season, and Coons will get some valuable time to develop as well. get well soon, Redders
