Josh Beaumont for Sale Sharks

At eight: Josh Beaumont

Sale have named Josh Beaumont, the son of former England player Bill, at number eight for their Heineken Cup Pool clash with Montpellier on Friday.

Openside Dave Seymour returns as captain.

Whilst Sale's chances of qualification have gone after back to back defeats to Toulon, they are eager to finish with a flourish and hopefully earn ranking points for future years in the competition.

Mark Cueto, who levelled the Premiership try-scoring record against Worcester moves to centre and plays alongside Mark Jennings who scored a try in the opening round against Cardiff Blues.

Meanwhile, Montpellier have recalled respective France and Argentina international forwards Fulgence Ouedraogo and Agustin Creevy to their side while Francois Trinh-Duc leads the backline.

Gorgodze didn't do a great deal in the game in Montpol, great player though he is. Cipriani has been good for Sale - their issues are much more related to the enormous number of penalties they give away at scrum time

Gorgodze running through Cipriani's channel should be fun to watch!

Shame that Sam tuitupou isn't playing this week. I thought he played well at vicarage last week against Saracens

Great prospect....he played most his young rugby at flyhalf but is now generally seen as a lock being 6ft 7 and 17st, interesting that he is playing number 8 here. As far as I know he hasn't gone through the standard england age grade route of most young stars but instead earnt his bread and butter for Fylde rugby making a 'big' contribution towards there promotion and also getting a game for the babas along the way...at around 21 he is one to watch !! (looks a bit like his dad too!)
