Robshaw eager for strong finish

SKY_MOBILE Chris Robshaw - England autumn internationals

Tough month: Chris Robshaw

England captain Chris Robshaw has insisted that his side finish on a high against New Zealand on Saturday after a frustrating month.

Poor decision-making against Australia and South Africa cost England important victories and with world champions New Zealand arriving at Twickenham this weekend, matters will not get any easier.

Robshaw though believes that lessons have been learned over the last two weeks and that anything is possible against the All Blacks.

"We have learned some hard lessons, myself in particular, but we have to move forward," said Robshaw.

"We've been strong. We've gone back to the drawing board and then tried to move forward.

"We've looked at the South Africa game, what worked well and what didn't work quite so well, and how do we try and get a result against New Zealand, which isn't going to be easy in itself.

"But we feel there are opportunities out there for ourselves, if we stick to our processes and how we've trained during the week. Anything is possible.

"We can't be dwelling on what has happened the last couple of weeks and look at every situation in a new light."

"New Zealand are one of the smartest sides. They probably play the best attacking rugby.

"It will be very different from last week, though of course we have to match their physicality at the break down.

"It's our last game in this series and we want to finish on a high."

Only the home unions can spin a loss into a win.

APV1... The last part of your post I found very disturbing, nevertheless a very good illustration of the correct use of capital letters. Speaking of illustrations do you have any? I'm fairly sure most of the posters on this board are visual learners. =)

APV1: how much energy do you save by using the word and single syllable "to" instead of "from". With "to" you have to push your lips forwards which is quite tiring but then again with "from" you have to drop the jaw.

If they even get close to the All Blacks i'm sure they and the media will be trumpeting it to the skies like a victory.

Good on ya!

And he said "different from", rather than the lazy and incorrect "different to".

Grammar, as I've mentioned before, is the difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t. Good use of capital letters, however, is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

;-)

Here's to a cracking weekend folks and may the best teams win!
