Stefan Terblanche: Scored one of Ulster's tries

Ulster maintained their fine home record when they beat Edinburgh 38-16 in a PRO12 clash at Ravehill on Friday.

The Irish province scored three tries in the first period from Paul Marshall, Stefan Terblanche and Adam D'Arcy as they opened up a 21-8 lead at the interval, with Sep Visser and Phil Godman responding for the visitors.

Although Godman added a second penalty just after the break, a penalty try confirmed the five points before Chris Cochrane and Ian Humphreys added further tries, although Tim Visser got one back for the visitors.

Having won four of their last five league encounters, the Irish province have put themselves in top-four contention.

However, they fell behind here to an out of form Edinburgh, who have succumbed to defeat in their last five games, when Visser went over.

The hosts hit back when Marshall crossed the whitewash, Ruan Pienaar converting, and extended that advantage when Terblanche scored Ulster's second try.

The South African half-back once again added the extras before D'Arcy scampered over to confirm the Irish province's domination in the opening period.

Godman reduced the arrears just before the break and converted a second opportunity on 43 minutes, but a penalty try for the hosts sealed the bonus-point.

Cochrane darted over, but the visitors collected a consolation try when the older Visser touched down, before Humphreys scored Ulster's sixth.

Is there a team out there that Tim Visser can't score against? Can't wait to see him in action for Scotland in the summer...
