Dickson should have started against Scotland, but its simply impossible for Lancaster to ignore him now. England looked so much better with dickson

Do we really think Farrell is the answer to our centre problems, lets not forget he is a fly half who couldn't get his position in the U20's for George Ford, so they manufactured a centre position for him. Bring Back Tuilagi and pair him with Barratt. Also get rid of Hodgson, who yet again has proved he is not up to playing International rugby, even against the weaker nations.

I pretty much agree with akadau's assessment - Wales is a game we shouldn't be expecting to win (not saying we shouldn't try, mind!), so it's the time to try some other combinations. I'd also like to see Brown given a go at full-back for fifty minutes; not because I believe Foden has done badly but because we've got to build a squad. Jordan Turner-Hall could use some additional game time too, and given that Tuilagi is only just back would be worth at least half an hour, too.

I would start Farrell at fly half with Barrit and Tuilagi as centres, dickson in for youngs and put Simpson on the bench and rest Youngs until he recovers form. Morgan straight switch for Dowson and probably put Lawes on the bench instead of who?? 2nd row difficult as Plamer and Botha have been OK and I rather like the look of Parling. Have to think more about that one ( as I am sure this will be one of the harder decisions for Lancaster). Oh and Sharples for Ashton until Ashton recovers some sort of form. Thats rather a lot of changes but I dont think it will alter any cohesion, I think it will improve us a little.

Tony says...

England badly need someone to run straight lines. Manu is probably the best candidate. The amount of shovelling the ball wind in the England v Italy game lead to pretty turgid rugby. Can no one run on the shoulder? Can no one make a pass in a tackle? The skill level was poor.

i agree mostly but would play dickson ahead of a hugely out of form youngs, robshaw at 6, wood at 7 (feel bad for croft though), palmer at 5 and farell at 10.

that should insure we lose by less than 20!

Had to really, not much of their skills, or any skills on show.

Is Flood still in the mix?

Hope not!
