Ruled out: Ronan O'Gara
Munster are likely to be without fly-half Ronan O'Gara for their Heineken Cup clash with Edinburgh at Thomond Park on Sunday due to a hamstring injury.
The Irish pivot departed the action against Racing and Munster have confirmed the news from the scan he underwent on Monday is "not so good".
It is now expected that Ian Keatley will step up into the fly-half position after wearing the number fifteen jersey against the Paris side last week.
Munster did receive encouraging news on the fitness of Paul O'Connell, who came through the clash unscathed following time out of the game.
Back-row Niall Ronan and lock forward Donnacha O'Callaghan will undergo fitness tests before the game as Munster look to kick-start their season.

JJ is the best 10 Ireland has had since ROG, he just needs game time now. It's a pity he won't start on the weekend while his U-20 counterpart is the 1st choice up at Ulster.

Keatley would want to cop on with the flair move of trying to pick up the ball on the run when covering back. After ROG's hopeless pass to Howlett he had the chance to get down on the ball and kill the hack on and tried the fancy move instead. That said he looks like he could come good and maybe Rog's injury is a good thing to force him to step up to the plate

Keatley is playing really well this season and hopefully he can get more game time as fly half. Munster backs finally look dangerous.
@BODsGODmisspelt: True that! But I think he needs a bit more game time in ProRabo

Shame for ROG but to be honest,he wasnt going to be there much longer anyway.Keatly needs to see if he can run a game at this leval, and J.J.Hanrahan i suspect is his long term replacement ,he does look to have alot of potential .To be totally honest i dont think ROG even deserves to be in the Ireland squad now ,not with players like Jackson ,Maddigan and Keatly all lining up behind Sexton ,and Hanrahan on the horizon.

JJ's the only other out-half in the HEC squad, so if ROG is out, he'll be in the 23

consistant and dependable goal kicker yes, but Keatley is the way forward and hopefully he can hang on to the starting spot.
Whens JJ Hanrahan going to get the call up to the HC squad? He is quality.
