100 caps for Leinster: Devin Toner

Leinster welcome back a number of internationals for Saturday's PRO12 clash with Treviso at Stadio di Monigo.

Jamie Heaslip make his first appearance of the season and captains the team in an all-Ireland international back-row alongside Shane Jennings and Kevin McLaughlin.

Devin Toner becomes the 20th Leinster player to reach the 100 cap milestone and he is named at second row alongside Damian Browne.

Heinke van der Merwe, a second half replacement at the RDS victory last weekend, is joined in the front row by hooker Richardt Strauss and Ireland tight-head prop Mike Ross.

In the backline Fergus McFadden, who is set to make his 75th Leinster appearance, partners Brian O'Driscoll at centre.

Eoin Reddan links up at half-back alongside Jonathan Sexton, with Ian Madigan (fresh from an 18-point haul against the Dragons) shifting to full-back and both Fionn Carr and Andrew Conway continuing on the wings after starting Leinster's 45-25 victory last weekend.

Leo Cullen is one of three Ireland internationals named on the bench alongside Isa Nacewa.

Meanwhile, Treviso coach Franco Smith has named a side featureing 12 internationals and only one player classified as foreigner, Kiwi Dean Budd, who is on the bench.

In total, the starting XV boasts 352 international caps.

Three players player their first games this season: Tommaso Benvenuti comes in at outside centre; Tobias Botes is at scrum-half while Leonardo Ghiraldini features in the front row.

Luke McLean returns to the run-on side at full-back.

Form: Treviso won the opening game of the season against Ospreys but tripped up to Munster in round two of the RaboDirect PRO12. Treviso have lost their last five encounters with the Irish provinces. Leinster got back to winning ways with a 45-25 victory over Dragons at the RDS on Saturday. The Leinstermen have won their last seven fixtures against Italian opponents. Treviso's only previous victory over Leinster was 29-13 at Stadio Monigo on 18 September 2010.

At least, a decent line-up from both teams. Should be entertaining.

@ crunchfit - yeah, agree about the choice at 15...can't really remember him playing there for us previously...good to see Noel Reid getting to the bench - he had a great game last week...I think Carr is finally beginning to live up to his potential - last season I felt that there was too much of the headless chicken about him, but this year he seems more focused and aware when he is running with the ball

overall, a pretty strong team and hopefully we can put in a good away performance and come home with the win...

Interesting no. 15 for Leinster. Nice to See Conway getting more game time. We have one or two too many good wingers / wing prospects in my opinion to get sufficient game time between them all.
