Hulking Fijian international prop Jerry Yanuyanutawa has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal with Glasgow Warriors.
The 29-year-old scored a crucial try in the 12-6 win over Leinster in September and has gone on to make 16 appearances for the Scotstoun-based side since joining last summer.
The Warriors know they will host their first ever play-off with a win over Zebre this weekend, with their top four place in the PRO12 already secured.
"I've enjoyed my first season in Glasgow and I'm really happy to be staying at the club," said Yanuyanutawa
"We have a really strong squad and there is a lot of competition for places, which means you have to perform every time you're given the opportunity.
"We have a huge game on Saturday night against Zebre and we know that if we win we'll secure our first ever home play-off.
"It's a really exciting time to be at the club."
"Jerry has made a really positive contribution this season," said head coach Gregor Townsend.
"He has worked hard on improving his game and always gives 100 percent when wearing the Warriors jersey.
"It's great news that he's staying at the club and he will provide us with competition in our front row next season."
