Jesus, KM and co have barely played all year, have just had 5 weeks off and last week everyone was moaning they were rusty and 1 test and we're wanting to preserve them??? After this match they have 2 weeks to prepare for Argentina in Wellington, if they're fit this week (Woodcock etc) then play them, they're not going to burn out with 2 matches in 2 months.

Craig and co - few more matches left in this tournament - managing game-time for Mealamu and Hore is essential - wouldn't rate one above the other, but playing KM another full game with SA and Arg to come - feel they should keep them both match-fit. Same goes for Woodcock - any hint of injury best to look after him with a view to later matches. At some stage Faumuina needs to get to play - if he eg ends up on as a injury sub early in a game v SA or Arg that wouldn't be the best of introductions, even the last 20-30 this Sat - as he's had plenty of time propping next to Mealamu maybe that would be the idea.
But then a agin - Hansen's selector and i am not!

tha_mai, no way mate, it was just June that we had one win, thought we were unbeatable and could pick whoever the next week. And the next week we got beaten up.
Hore I agree is world class, though dropping Mealamu after his game on Saturday is insane.
But Faumuina? I think the Aussies will be absolutely boiling on Saturday, and the ABs will need players who can absorb that mentally, as well as physically. Ben Franks seems fairly relaxed at all times, I'd have to plump for him. But god I hope Woodcock's fit - I just think Aussie will be explosive at Eden Park and we'll need all the calmness and experience we can get.

Off goes Woodcock - a chance to start with both Franks brothers. They made it look easy in the second half.

An opportunity to reshuffle the front row, incl start with Hore, and give Charlie Faumuina his first AB start - where better than at 'home' Eden Park.

How true, I think my Auntie Bessie would last the first 40 against an Australian front row.

A prop against Aus - any S15 prop will do the job!
