Deserves a week off I think. No excuse it was front on and he even tried to slam him down after contact. As for Saia Faingaa that grub needs to be taught a lesson from someone either the judiciary or more satisfying a player on the field. He consistently dives into rucks targeting players with his shoulder

Are we really debating this??? Shouldnt we be in awe of the fact that Quade actually tackled someone????

I didn`t watch the game and reading all the comment I start feeling the urge to defend Cooper but you brought the truth under light...Because it didn`t made sense that cooper would act illegal accidentally...

I think yellow card was enough to punish Q.Cooper. It was not wild tackle or intentional of course. It doesn't warrant a suspension. But Reds at Fortress Suncorp can still wiin without Q.Cooper. I agree wif 'big6969' that ABs and Kiwi teams often get away with murder. Referees and his assistants need to really improve in all areas. Imagine if Brumbies wer not robbed against Bulls in S/A, the knockout line-up wud hev been different wif 2 Australlian teams

Just a bad tackle with intent. Can't believe anyone is arguing that this shouldn't be a citing, and i couldn't care less if it was or wasn't. The SBW tackle wasn't remotely dangerous. Just look at Barnes hobbling off and ask which was worse!

Some consistency would have seen Faainga go for 3-6 weeks for that head high that was basically a punch against the Highlanders. He followed that with a facial on the ground - what shocker. Again no actions taken for foul play against a NZ team (or an All Black team) where the worse offences are unpunished.
62Lofu says...as for the SBW incident, totally different what a beat up. Yes it is incredible he did not get seen because it was high and worth a penalty. But he reached over the shoulder down to the chest and his arm dragged over the head , it was not a strike or a front on tackle, not as dangerous or a deliberate and action.

Ridiculous that Cooper gets cited, what was the citing commissioner doing during the Chiefs / Canes game.

SBW (who is a great player, don't get me wrong) was clearly shown, in slo-mo, wrapping his sizeable arm around the head and neck of a Hurricanes winger, right in front of the Referee's Touchline-Flag-Waver-Dude and he never even received as much as a cough of disapproval. A little consistency please!!!
