Trinats2 - has QC now gained citizenship and Oz passport?
He did not have either last year; as he moved to Oz after 2002 he missed out on automatic eligibility that applied till then, as per this news item from Oct 2011 http://tvnz.co.nz/rugby-world-cup/wallaby-cooper-not-aussie-citizen-video-4466929
I found an Australian media report dated 28 May 2012 saying he still did not have citizenship, unsure how he can have a passport if that is the case? Expect it would have made the news, given how publicity-fond he can be.
As for his 'oz-ness' those tatts - are they traditional Queensland style?

Quade Coopers passport has a roo and emu on it, makes him Australian.
And from the picture below I'm sure it's Cooper in a Gold jersey (again Australian)

Onlt traits of Kiwi would be the when he is in trouble !! but as a kid when his parents brought him over, he should have out grown it by now.

Coopers all right, I actually feel a little sorry for him, had he stayed in NZ then chances are he'd be a more complete player, or at least one who could tackle but he's doing all right over there. I doubt any league clubs would bother with him (he can't tackle) and playing in Queensland offers him the best chance of warm dry conditions suitable to his loose playing style. He's a Kiwi so like all those Kiwis over there playing code, we should support them.

Only Kiwis and saffas on here, must be because you're worried he is staying with Reds and Wallabies !!!!

If SBW was offered more money to play netball he would.

Lol@brands. Nice one
Good news for the Reds.
@trinats, im sure most kiwis secretly admire cooper just as much as you secretly admire Mr SBW :)

Trinats2 - his website is the subject of much ongoing ridicule on an Australian rugby forum; I couldn't make it past the opening page though I doubt he wrote that himself - marketing folk. Secret admiration? I don't dislike any rugby player, from anywhere, but prefer their efforts are limited to the playing field, and I'd include the Khoder Nasser/SBW hype in that, as well as every journalist who announces 'the next Lomu' I think every country has had one now, and they haven't been the next one - or even close.
When Cooper can average better than 2 points per test - he's under that now - 68 from 35, maybe he'll get a little respect. Journos love to compare him with Spencer, also 35 tests - but 291 points; no comparison is there?

Cooperman to the rescue !!!!!
tha_mai: Why are you looking up his website ?? I haven't even looked it up? You, like most kiwis, have a secret admiration for the most exciting and electrifying player on the planet, don't you !!.
Trader2:
yes he did, like Geina, take a pay cut. Which proves he's not at the Reds for the $$$ !!!
Who else was chasing him????? Anyone that could afford him, in both codes, tabled offers.

@Trader2 ...Who else was chasing him?
quite right, in his current barely fit/recovering from injury state he'd have been difficult to market after just a couple (I think it is two) part-matches; quite a drop in buyer-appeal from his peak last year - after Super rugby but before RWC - despite being: a Fly Half in the world game of Rugby Union, whose extraordinary skills, creativity and sensational athleticism have seen him entertain Rugby followers and non-followers alike. Quade is arguably the most exciting and electrifying player on the planet. (quote from his website)
