@sukkadotis you have hit the nail on the head. the man has form. He had one of the best records as an All Black coach but his man management was abysmal. What he and Dingo Deans, his comrade in arms, did to Christian Cullen was disgraceful. Mitchell wasn't sacked from the All Blacks just because of the loss in the 2003 RWC but also because of his lack of man management, his appalling lack of judgement in numerous facets of management and lack of respect towards the sponsors. This man is a serial offender and has many issues. The Force had to have a minder with him when problems blew up and before the Lions rescued him from the inevitable. That he knows something about the game is shown by the fact he took the Lions to a Currie Cup win but once again other aspects of his rule are brought into question.

"If we listen to what was said at the sport portfolio committee... the Southern Kings will play in 2013, but not at the expense of any other side," said De Klerk.....Errrm Wrong!
"So we are listening to that and we understand what is going on. There is some big lobbying taking place and I do believe that we will still remain in this competition for 2013.".... Who knows, write to Santa and tell him you've been good!

I really can't wait for the 13th of July. I am absolutely DYING to see how SARU fulfills their promises of the Kings playing in next year's tournment "but not at the expense of another side"... Are the Kings and the Lions going to make turns? The Lions playing all the away games and the Kings the home games..? Lol...
Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be funny.
