Read has many great attributes but it was his ability to reclaim Carters restarts which caused the Chiefs so many problems last time.. they barely won a kick-off with Read dominating the middle of the park and from there the Crusaders ran out to a big lead which the Chiefs never recovered. Big loss.

georgesmith - you think so? neither training nor traveling with the team could be a clue, as is his own statement "I won't be playing in Hamilton. It's pretty much cracked on one of the ribs so just have to wait for it to heal"
More important is his fitness/recovery for the AB tests, Crusaders getting along OK meantime.
