hybrid187 & Tony - a bit of both - this his twelfth year in New Zealand, took him four years of club rugby to break into the 2nd division Hawke's Bay side 2005, four years at that provincial level to make a Super rugby side, Chiefs in 2009. A late starter at international level he was almost 30 when he played his first test for Tonga last July. If he stays injury free should get a few years good money in France. He can live forever on the memory of being in the Tongan side that beat France at 2011 RWC.

Whatever. Stick by what I said. Regardless there'll be another one to replace him.

I believe the conveyor belt that "churned" Taumalolo out was actually a Tongan one and not the NZ rugby conveyor belt.

Ugh such a shame, but good luck to him.
I guess the next one will be churned out the NZ rugby conveyor belt soon to replace him.
