The Cheetahs were dealt a blow when it was revealed that Springbok flanker Heinrich Brüssow will miss Saturday's clash with the Sharks in Bloemfontein.

According to the Volksblad website, Cheetahs boss Naka Drotské said Brüssow is still battling to overcome a groin injury and will not be risked for the match.

Philip van der Walt (hand) and Jean Cook (shoulder) are over their injuries and set to return while Teboho Mohoje is also back from Springbok duty.

Boom Prinsloo and Lappies Labuschagné are also sidelined with groin injuries which has prompted Drotské to call up Shimlas flanker Henco Venter as back row cover.

Meanwhile, returning Boks Johan Goosen and Coenie Oosthuizen, who were both battling with knee injuries have been ruled fit and are available to facve the Sharks.
