@ Pearcewreck - I do hope your comment was meant tongue-in-cheek. If you're serious and you actually believe that, then you're in need of some serious help, my friend.
That said, this is a farce and I feel for those who gave up their precious time and money to watch this, only to have it taken away at the last moment. Let's hope there's suitable compensation and arrangements made for them.

Just like in 2002 We might only know who won this winters competition in the summer.
So Wales (or England) might win the 6 nations because France got beaten by Ireland months after their last game and any player of that squad and retiring after the end of the season would win a 6 six nations title after retirement.

Actually, the LNR (Ligue Nationale de Rugby), i.e. the clubs, wanted to move the date in June, the FFR hasn't made a decision yet. In France, the clubs are almost more powerful than the FFR which is why it's very difficult to have our players available for selection for instance.
@Pearcewreck: nice and balanced comment full of humility... definitely the values of our sport...

What a farce, a complete joke.
Just shows what a joke Northern Hemisphere sport is.
This whole debacle would never happen in the Southern Hemisphere. Our Rugby is so much more proffesional at all levels than the North.
Which is why the Southern Hemisphere always wins everything.
