Building from Club performances is a good idea first step pick the form players in the Club games not the usual squad as the Ireland team has a history of carrying players who are past their best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i heard a lot of comments about BOD, have a good look at yourself if you think he is past it cos he isn't and he is the greatest Irish player ever and he will be there for us until the very end!!!
The spare parts are very obvious I would ask you all to pick 3 such players:
1. Darcy
2. Wallace
3. O' Callaghan

Realy because that aussie team was one of the favourites of the tournment to lift the RWC. Ireland faught them off the park and then cut them open to have a try dissaloud for a reason which to this day remains unclear. Ireland dont want to be the AB's Ireland want to be Ireland and consistant playing a good brand of rugby which they do. France have an edge on them for some reason the irish team will get even stronger over the next few years the tallent comeing thourgh the ranks are getting better and better. We have a conver belt and we will be getting new lads of the production line soon I promise.

Agree with you. Leinster can run great backline moves, so can Ulster. Even Munster showed they can do it last week. As for the Irish backline, you can see what it's doing well in advance, bar the odd small break.

The Irish team talk of šthat disappointing performanceš against Wales at the RWC as if they had lost to Georgia. At the end of the day Ireland bored an under-performing Australia team off the pitch in the opening game, and lost to a better Welsh team on the day in the quarter final. Ireland are not the all blacks - just get over it !!!.

The one thing I noticed about Ireland for the last ten years; is that their back line attack is predictable and limited. Let us say hypothetically your team has 80 possessions in a match. If the teams are evenly matched physically, what is to be gained by crashing and butting heads over and over again? Be innovative, open things up at speed and down field. Each possession is an opportunity. Not to be wasted! Ft.Wayne RFC
