Leave Darcy alone guys he isn't picking the team even if it hasn't yet been proven, Ireland is an Island and thats one thing the rugby team needs to change, Downey is not as limited as Darcy and far bigger and stronger and faster but he is in England playing with a useless club in the saints who can only scrummage for 80 minutes and play no rugby at all. Darcy is playing with the best players in the world day in day out and thats why he looks so ordinary, in a poor team he may look good.
As for Ireland selection I love Ireland and all the provinces but i would wager the only way out of the squad is retirement or gross misconduct, its like a public service job you can't be sacked look at Paddy wallace, when Cave was a far better 12/13 and Humpherys a far better 10 in his provence and yet he is always picked for Ireland. Earls is too small for 12 or 13 but a class wing, Bowe is a class wing playing with the worst club apart from Aironi in the HC, Ireland have maybe the best back row in the 6 nations and that includes Coughlan and O'Mahoney and Henry, the best fly half in $exton and ROG, Kearney is flying at 15 and our scrums look good, get rid of Darcy and play McFadden who is a more dynamic stronger player who tackles better and attacks 100% better, Wales WC 1/4 final and France 6 nations 2011 are my case and point. Keith wood has far more trys than Darcy with less caps and he was a H00ker?????????? Jonathan Davis has far more trys and he is only in his mid 20's and he wasn't playing iwth the Pele of Rugby BOD!!!! Come on Ireland get your act together

Please no more D'Arcy in 1st XV!! McFadden deserves a chance, put Bowe on 13 and Earls, Trimble on wing. To all those Earls haters, before bitc*ing how Earls sucks you ought to know that hes a born wing and both Deccie and McGahan are making a mistake playing him at 13! Im also glad James Coughlan is in the senior squad, he's been a good back rower for Munster for some time now. Wish we had all the players like Flannery, Best, Court, Cronin, Healey, Ross, POC, DOC, Cullen, Coughlan, Ferris, Heaslip, DAVID Wallace (not paddy), SOB, Ryan, O'Mahony + other young impresive lads ready to play and no injuries. Imagine what kind of killing machine Irish scrum would be...

I dont think D'Acy should even be in the squad myself as his form hasnt been good for years .I would much rather have F.McFaden playing at 12 or J.Downey whos not in any of the sqauds lol.As to the absence of BOD well yes big boots to fill and a quandry for Ireland is Earls a outside center or a winger we will see this year i expect myself id play A.Trimble at 13 and Earls on the wing but then im not DK am i lol
