The problem France have is that to make the team more consistent (as PSA is aiming to do) you have to bottle some of that flair...and that really told in the second half when they didn't have much in the way of an answer to unlocking the irish defence...also the old arrogance of a few years ago is back with France where they play half a game, realise they're behind and bring it back second half...the hooker was awful and gougerie needs to be replaced...maybe they should bring bastareaud back in at 12 and try fofana at 13?

@chancer - well said regarding the BBC commentators - I had to turn them down. Why should they always favour sides from the British Isles?

@chancer - have England scored any other type of try this term?

Thought that the French try had more of an element of good fortune than the Irish. Interceptions are a skill like lineout steals. The French passing was so laboured that Bowe could have had a couple more if his hands had been better.

Bye bye Grande slam! Did well to salvage a draw though. They still have a good shot at the championship.

Take away two lucky tries and some inexplicable ref decisions (both ways) what result would you have? Also the level of biggoted comment on the BBC is becoming embarrassing, not surprised Serge made the comment he did at half time, the Anglo Saxon plot is alive and kicking.

England may have a rush defence that upset France but do they have the players to score two lucky tries??

On a constructive note, Rougerie is not a International centre, bring in Mermoz, the starting hooker should be Bill Servat, the current selection is not up to International level Please make changes Piglet!!
