@ markmassive - he's coming along and has played a few times for Bath United and even for the firsts. But we made a mistake pushing Robinson too much, too early, which delayed his conversion to Union. So I think he's being given a bit miore time. But he's quick. Damned quick. And should be able to play anywhere across the back three, given time and training. And he'll learn from the likes of Bendy, which is no bad thing.

I'm genuinely excited about his progress, I watch a bit of league not alot and I know his brother is a superstar talent. Can anyone tell me if Joel is of the same standard? He looks thicker set than his brother Sam.

Also is Kyle Eastmond any good? once again loads of hype about him who's at Bath.

England are still average at centre - players with vision are sadly lacking.

Yep i agree League converts can come good, some better than others! Give the guy some time and I am sure he'll do well!

rugby_rockstar- Good call. As the story says, he's only played four game sin union so far. Lets give him some time and see how he goes in the Aviva before we start touting him as a key player for England. Looking to the future, I'd like to see him have a go at 12. We've got loads of options at 13. I think he could do it. You don't have to have a kicking game to play at 12. My favourite 12 is Probably Jamie Roberts and I think Tomkins could be a very similar type of player.

I'm a duel code fan and I support Wigan in League. Joel knows how to run a good line and has the power to smash over close to the line. he could prove to be lethal 5m / 10m out. The trick with all league converts though is how they get on with less space to work with and the ruck element of union. We need to give him a shot at playing in the aviva without pressure. leave him alone, let him develop his game out of the limelight. Help the guy out.

He could make a decent 12, don't have to pigeon hole him as a specialist 13 just yet.

We can as many centre options as we like but until we get the 10 slot nailed on we are going to struggle.... Farrell, Ford, even dare I say it Cipriani have got to start showing this season....
