Position untenable: Holleh Nowrouz
Sale have announced that their Social Media Executive, Holleh Nowrouz, has been dismissed following comments she made to the club's supporters.
Nowrouz called some fans on facebook "absolute f***wits" after the side's 62-0 defeat against Toulon and the club has now acted on the words.
"Following a stringent disciplinary review Sale Sharks has announced that The Club's Social Media Executive Holleh Nowrouz, has been dismissed from her role with immediate effect," said a statement released by Sale on Monday.
"The Club's CEO Steve Diamond conducted the review in the aftermath of adverse comments made by Ms Nowrouz towards a section of the Club's fans on a personal social networking site."
Commenting on the news Steve Diamond said: "As a club we have always been proud of the backing we receive from our supporters through thick and thin over our 151 year history.
"At this crucial time for the Club Holleh's comments, though private, just overstepped the mark and left her position untenable."

Kiwikev: you and Campo are two peas in a pod. To use some terminology from your era: I like her, she shows spunk.

I am wondering who she was related to in the first place to have received this position...
Or perhaps she was hired for some other talent?

OK this highlights how out of touch I am - do all major clubs have a Social Media Executive?
I do agree that calling fans 'absolute fwits' is not overly social.
