Injury blow: James Bailey

Wasps have revealed that wing James Bailey is unlikely to play again this season after suffering a broken leg.

The former Gloucester finisher sustained the injury during the 24-6 defeat to Aviva Premiership leaders Northampton Saints last Friday.

Wasps boss Dai Young confirmed that Bailey, 29, will undergo surgery.

"We all know how hard he has worked over the summer months to get back to fitness after a shoulder injury he had in France, so everyone really feels for him," said the Welshman.

A series of narrow early-season defeats means the London club lie third from bottom of the table.
