What a crap pair of centres. France should pick Yann David and Bastareud to show them some really big centres who actually have some ball skills.

Have to agree with other posters... no creativity in the centre will be our downfall yet again. Matt Scott's time will come I think, but not until the summer tour down under.

Yep disappointing selection around the centres! Can't see t wingers getting much ball! Shame Matt Scott isn't selected! A quick midfield would certainly complete a potentially very good back line. It now just seems bulked up so I'd assume the pack are going to be on hand when the crash ball centres x 2 take the hit and Scotland will then grind a victory out of the French in the forwards??!!!

Shame about Ansbro and Scott? One of these two along with Steven McShingler would definitely be an exciting prospect! Does anyone know if the SRU and WRU had their meeting about the latter? Doesn't look good since his brother plate for Wales last week..

Absolutely appalling selections in the backs.Robbo goes from a midfeild with little ability to pass the ball to one with a complete inability to pass the ball. I honestly cannot recal ever seeing either Morrison or Lamont ever pass a ball in all the time I have watched them play for Scotland. How he expects our outside backs to fire is completely beyond comprehension. Its so depressing that our coach manages to loose us the game before it had even started with bogus selections like this.

Bring Scott and Hogg or Ansbro into midfeild now! Craig Chalmers for national coach.

Well at least the dredful N.De.Luca doesent start his not international class no where near it imo.G.Morrisson is at least solid if lacking again not really international class imo oh if only Ansbro was fit he at least has potential to be class .As to the match Scotland should give France a hard game and i suspect be a bit more of a threat than against Wales .But if France turn up i think they are just to clinical with the ball .Will be closer than people think but France by 9-12 points imo

6ft 2in 105kg Sean Lamont is joined in the centre by his twin, 6ft 2in 105kg Graeme Morrison, leaving no room for the impish 6ft and 92kg De Luca....

Seems size does matter, or maybe Andy Robinson has learnt something from the Wales game.....

That's a bit of a better looking squad, they should give France a tough time but I'd say France to win by 10+
