Love this guy. He is immense as a player, immense as a captain and has Johnny's dignity when being interviewed. I hope France loses against England though I can't see it happening. However, I don't mind England losing to this gentleman.

@rugby_rockstar: i agree, referee had to punish italian pack with a penalty kick to France on that last action of the game. Anyway you have to admit Italy deserved to win the match; France players' approach was presumptuos, they thought match was over, after Trin Dhuc try and that was not the case. There's no dubt that France team is better and i can easily immagine that saturday's clash will be probably painful for Azzurri; after all it's not easy for "France's grandeur" to support a defeat by italians :-), so they will work hard to taste their revenge. Happy rugby to you.

I know everyone loved that Italy beat france last year, but they shouldn't have.

At the last play of the match, the French scrum smashed the italian pack, right in front of the italian goal posts. the italy flankers panicked and broke awayand france should have been awarded the penalty and won the game. God awful refereeing which would have the fans or any team going nuts if it happened to them. So lets just say that France will be looking fior revenge on Saturday.

A true gentleman of this sport. He gives his all on the field, he never shirks, he's all mortar and bricks. Perhaps not the most talented with his hands on the ball, but a truly destructive force in defence.

The fact that he does not want to attack Lièvremont as some others did makes him a taller figure. Anyway, I missed his leadership skills in the defeats against Tonga and Italy last year. I don't know how well he communicates with his fellow teammates. He leads by example but I don't know if a stern word is necessary at times. Any thoughts anybody?
