Wales have called up Scarlets prop Samson Lee to their November Tests training squad as cover for Ospreys tighthead Adam Jones.
Lee, who starred for Wales U20s in June when they defeated New Zealand at the Junior World Championships in South Africa will join the squad which leaves for its training camp in Poland on Sunday.
Jones, who has an issue with his knee, remains in camp and will travel with the rest of his team-mates as planned.
"In order to get the best out of Spala it is important for us that the squad is able to work at optimum level," said Wales' interim head coach Rob Howley.
"Samson has been called in as a precaution to train with the squad, as cover for Adam and to ensure that the squad can get through the work it needs to over the seven or eight days we are away in order to maximise our gains from the camp."
Lee is a product of the Scarlets Regional and WRU National Academy set up.
