Pro12 competive edge really showed through down under.

@ Headhunter99 - cliffguy's as delusional as Henson. Perhaps we'll see them lining up the the LW midfield together...

@NHsaints - how many last chances has he had though?

Henson not really up to Pro12, but in the less competitive level of the Aviva, he could be a real asset. English clubs don't have this sort of player, viz. their problems at 12 in SA and 6N.

This guy is a clown and it will be London Welsh's first 'faux pas'. This demonstrates more about how ill prepared London Welsh are than anything else as this is a truly desperate measure. Still, desperate measures it is and so Lyn Jones and Gavin Henson reunite (potentially). I'm just a bit surprised that they are now scabbling around for players as the club chairman/owner (or whatever he is) stated that they knew they would win the case. If so, what have you been doing in the meantime? Is Gavin Henson the best bet? This isn't looking good for the Welsh I'm afraid. I will make a bet with any posters that (for whatever reason) he will not last the full season.

I think Matt Henjak had a lot to do with Henson's falling out at Toulon.

Time will tell, I suppose. Another "last" chance and I hope he appreciates it for what it is.

Well there won't be as many big egos for him to clash with like at Toulon and whilst I'm not a fan I did think his sacking by the Blues had more to do with the fact he was only a couple of games away from leaving anyway so they could make a point of being strict taskmasters without compromising their squad significantly. Other players can get away with far more and I think he was more a victim of his own bad reputation in that case, although chucking ice cubes on a flight is obviously a daft thing to do and his reputation is unquestionably justified. Whilst he will improve LW's squad I would hate to see a club who have gone through so much to get promoted get dragged down by Henson's behaviour. I don't think he was ever all he was cracked up to be but there is no denying he's got the skill to compete well in the premiership and surely even he realises he can't afford to throw away what could be his last opportunity at top level rugby.

How many last chance saloons has this media-hungry clown been in!? Bad idea, LW need real players with focus, not vanity stricken basket cases!

@headhunter99. Henson vs Cipriani? More like OK vs Womans Weekly. Mediocrity in stereo...

Brilliant idea... I for one was already looking forward to a Welsh team getting battered week in week out in the Premiership. So I say, why not add this idiot to the mix? It can only result in a higher entertainment value when they're getting washed!
